Video: Gambhir, Manoj Tiwary's onfield spat during IPL game

Even as Kolkata Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir led his side to a comfortable victory over the Rising Pune Supergiant, he was seen engaging in a verbal spat with a particular opposition player.

And the man in discussion here is none other than Manoj Tiwary.

There seemed to be no love lost between the duo as they continued their little spat during the KKR chase.

Gambhir, after sneaking a single and taking his stance at the non-striker's end was seen hurling angry words at his former KKR teammate.

The two have quite a history especially after their ugly spat during a Ranji Trophy game between Delhi and Bengal in 2015.

It may be recalled that Tiwary, who had hit the winning runs in KKR's title triumph in 2012, was released by the franchise last year, and went unsold at the auction earlier this year. However, Tiwary later got a lifeline when he was roped in RPS for his base price, ahead of the ongoing season.

Leeds [UK], Dec 7 (ANI): Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has praised midfielder Paul Pogba, saying that he is one of the best players in the world when he is in good touch. "Paul is going to play when he gets his fitness. Pogba has endured a frustrating 2019-20 campaign to date, having only managed five Premier League appearances in total due to a string of fitness issues. He is currently recovering from an ankle injury and last played for the club on September 30 against Arsenal. Solskjaer had said that the France international will be out of action till December. "It might be 45 minutes in the first game, it might be half an hour, it might be 90. It depends on what game he comes back in and I'm looking back to get Paul back to where I had him about a year ago," Solskjaer said. ...
