A lot of European football clubs these days go an extra mile to please the fan base in India.
This Diwali too many posted wishes on their social media space. Some even posted in Hindi! But it was Bayern Munich that aced it in style. The Dutch footbal club sent a team jersey with Ajinkya Rahane's name and the number 27 which he uses for his Team India jersey.
Delighted with the surprise gift, Rahane posted a video thanking the club and wishing his fans a happy Diwali.
Jinks also sent a Team India jersey with his name and number on it. Bayern Munich posted an image of their forward and Dutch star Arjen Robben holding that jersey with a wide grin on his face wishing Indian fans a very happy Diwali.
