Sachin, Sehwag wish Laxman on his birthday

Former India batting stalwart VVS Laxman on Tuesday turned 42 as cricketing greats and noted personalities wished the man with a silken touch a very happy birthday.

Laxman, popularly known as the 'God of fourth innings' crafted a memorable 281 against the mighty Australians in 2001 to help India clinch a historic Test match at the Eden Gardens.

That particular knock defined Laxman's hunger for runs, his grit and placed him alongside greats like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag.

The Hyderabadi batsman known for his magical wrist work currently is donning the hat of commentator.
