Tiger Woods will find out over the next two weeks if his season is over or just getting started.
At least he will be on golf courses that bring good memories.
The first stop is Firestone, where Woods is an eight-time winner and the defending champion. After that, he heads to Valhalla for the PGA Championship, where he won in 2000.
He needs two good weeks to qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs that begin Aug. 21, and that could determine whether he's selected for the Ryder Cup matches at the end of September.
Woods doesn't like talking about what might not happen. He figures winning both events will take care of everything.
Even so, he's not sure what to expect from having played only six rounds in four months.
